Oh, I Love to cook
I Love to cook for those that I love
I Love for them to enjoy every bite
Love to spend hours fixing new recipes and changing them. (Lol, I don't like to follow recipes, I like to add my own touch)
Love to create new recipes too :), The best part is to find flavors that can blow your mind.
Love the smells of my kitchen every evening and night.
I Love to see the face of my little boy and hear the Yummm, from my little girl.
And love that my hubby eats everything from his plate and even from mine (Love you babe).
And the most important think is that I LOVE TO EAT! (and guess what, I'm not proud of it ;)

I have one funny and intelligent boy, he's one of the toughest, energetic, crazy little guys! LOL :)
Everyday is different for me, I don't know what to expect from him, oh no, WAIT A MINUTE!... Of course I know what my house is going to be, it's going to be full of loud noises (dinosaurs, dogs, cats, you name it!)
But something that I now for sure, is that every saturday he's going to want to help me making pancakes, waffles, crepes or something else :).
Since I recently started studying photography I need to go out early in the morning to wait for the bus, the train, the subway (actually 2). So, I haven't had the time to do my regular special breakfast of the week. He noticed it, so he told me that he understands that I'm going to school like him and that I don't have the time to fix the big breakfast that day.
What he didn't realize is that Daddy was in charge of the meal that day.
He was so amazed when he saw daddy putting a pizza in the oven (one of those that you buy at the store already prepared, not the frozen kind). BTW it's nothing like the ones that you have in the States, these are WAY BETTER, the italian kind ;). So he exclaimed : DADDY, DO YOU KNOW HOW TO COOK?!?!, I THOUGH THAT THE ONLY ONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO COOK IN THIS HOUSE IS MOMMY! (which is true, my poor baby only knows how to boil water :). When David explained to Ian that he only put the pizza in the oven, he said: OK, KNOW I UNDERSTAND... MOMMY IS AN AWESOME COOK, I LOVE HOW SHE COOKS!
I'm glad to know that my cooking is really appreciated by my family, love to see them enjoy their food. And that my boy is so sweet with me every time he tries something new.
I'm so blessed to have a husband who is always helping me especially now that I'm gone for my classes :). I LOVE YOU BABE!

Today we went to play outside our house, it was really fun, we played with Ian's Tricycle, Hayden's car, etc... We played soccer and had a blast.
I took the opportunity to practice a little photography, it was a cloudy and ugly day so it was a little challenging for me doing all the settings on manual, but I had a blast doing pictures of my kids and other stuff.
Almost at the time when we were getting ready to go to our house our neighbors went outside with their 12 month old son Sergio, so we had the opportunity to talk with them and had some fun together (most of the fun was talking and laughing).
I'm glad for the opportunity that God has given us by moving to this neighborhood and some of the friends that we have made.
As most of you know our daughter Hayden was born with Ventricular Septal Defect (a heart condition)
Basically she has a small hole in her heart. The last time we went to the doctor was August of last year and we are supposed to go again this year in August as well. Please pray that the hole will have closed on its own. We still need to find a good pediatric cardiologist for her.
Also, it may not seem like much but our little girl is a year and a half now and she just doesn't seem to want to walk. It appears that everything is fine with her but she doesn't seem to have a desire to walk. Pray that she will get the courage to take consistent baby steps.
Thank you for your prayers.

He climbs in my lap for a goodnight hug
He calls me Dad and I call him Bub
With his faded old pillow and a bear named Pooh
He snuggles up close and says, "I wand to be like you"
I tuck him in bed and I kiss him goodnight
Tripping over his toys as I turn out the light
And I whisper a prayer that someday he'll see
He's got a father in God 'cause he;s seen Jesus in me
Lor, I want to be just like You
'Cause he wants to be just like me
I want to be a holy example
For his innocent eyes to see
Help me be a living Bible, Lord
That my little boy can read
I want to be just like You
'Cause he wants to be like me
Got to admit I've got so far to go
Make so many mistakes and I'm sure that You know
Sometimes it seems no matter how hard I try
With all the pressures in life I just can't get it all right
But I'm trying so hard to learn from the best
Being patient and kind, filled with Your tenderness
'Cause I know that he'll learn from the things that he sees
And the Jesus he finds will be the Jesus in me
Right now from where he stands I may seem mighty tall
But it's only 'cause I'm learning from the best Father of

Since I was a kid I have had an interest in photography. I remember that when I was 8 I did everything in my power to save some money to buy a very pretty
yellow camera that I had seen at a toy store (it was one of those toy cameras that could take pictures for real). After taking pictures for a long time I was told that It was impossible for me to afford all of the film that I was using) so I decided
to just practice without the film (well, that's not a good idea, lol).
When I was 10 I started begging my parent to buy me a new camera for my birthday, thankfully they bought me one. This time I tried not to go crazy with the film :)
When I was 15, with all of the changes in technology (not quite sure when digital cameras came out). My parents did something amazing for me, they spent 700 dollars on a digital camera for me. I was so exited and
used that huge camera like crazy. If you can remember the first digital cameras, you know what I'm talking about! ;) From that day on I would carry my camera with me everywhere. I was in love, hahahahaha.
When my real love came to me (my husband David) I used that camera to take precious memories of us, I have almost 4000 pictures of us together (not kidding! :). I'm thankful to God for that time in my life. Well, one day... when I was on a trip with my husband (at that time my boyfriend) HE LOST MY PRECIOUS BABY! That day was quite a challenge of love for me ;) lol
It took me 3 months until I was able to buy a new camera, and again my wonderful parents gave me an even better camera (GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME)
Well, to make a long story short after a long time of having a
desire in my heart to take some photography classes...
I'm finally able to do it!
I'm having a blast!
I'm loving every moment of the class (even when I have a hard time paying attention...ADD :S)
I'm learning a lot!
Here are some pictures of my progress
Shooting on AUTOMATIC is easy...Shooting on MANUAL is so difficult :P
My first try.. lol

So the other dat I was watching Bizarre Food. That is one interesting show...
I like to see the different foods and cultures of some of the countries around the world.
I decide to find out if they had made a show here in Spain, thankfully they had!. What a great way to lear some of the Spanish Culture. Just remember that most of the people son't eat like this, and most of this food is not a staple for them. The funny part is that I was horrified with sine of the dishes and said to may self, "I will never eat them", something that I can't really say because being a missionary means that you need to blend into the culture. So if someone decides to give me some weird dish then... BRING IT ON :P... LOL
SO tell me what you think. Also, tell me about some bizarre food that you have in your country. HAVE YOU EATEN SOME??!!!

Today was Ian's last day of spring vacation and we had to do his project for the end of his a school trimester.
We had so much fun dying the noodles and then gluing all the noodles to the mammoth that we did together :)
A couple of minutes ago we found out that he has a fever, YES AGAIN!!, Please pray for him and that this fever will go away soon. Hopefully we will be taking him to school tomorrow.
